For as long as I can remember, I've loved cooking and cooking utensils. From the "plates" made of sand and dandelions in my childhood, to inviting the cat for tea in a children's game, to the gourmet food now served in snow-white china.
Everyone in my family cooked, everyone had their own special dish. And the table was nicely set: large crockery, glass plates and salad bowls. We often had guests. And another family tradition: my grandmother called me Kató.
I absorbed this hospitality and aesthetic back then, and as I grew older, I began to create my dream home and habits, and at the same time develop my cooking skills.
Now, for me, gastronomy is not just about cooking. It is about the art of taste, self-development and self-realization. And, at the same time, preserve family traditions and pass them on to the next generation.
I study the culinary heritage of different cultures, sampling everything from street food to Michelin-starred dishes. I try to understand, combine and improve. There are dishes that I've been perfecting for years. I choose drinks that further complement and reveal each of them. It has been a long journey to find myself, and now I understand my calling with certainty.
So I plan to dedicate the rest of my life to everything related to gastronomy and tableware. Study everything related to food, dishes, wines, restaurants and find the best tableware. And to share all this with you.
This is how the KATÓ family food traditions project was born, which combines everything I sincerely love: family, gastronomy and tableware. It's my life and my passion, what I like the most. Here I will share my experiences, ideas and discoveries. We'll talk a lot about food, restaurants, and table etiquette. We will cook and taste together, have culinary meetings and wine tastings all over the world. We will visit "tasty" places and meet chefs. We will all be able to create masterpieces, because Gastronomy is an art!

- To the family. All efforts to create a cozy home for her. After all, a place where you want to return, where they wait for you and want you just to be there, where the whole family welcomes you with a pet and your nose is tickled with familiar and expensive smells is the most valuable point on the planet.
- Quality. We only work with proven materials and manufacturers. I personally select all tableware, mostly from European manufacturers. The fundamental principle is to sell only what I would buy for myself.
- Estética. Sophistication is not only pleasing to the eye, but it also fulfills you spiritually. Dining at a well-set table is like putting on a very pretty evening gown: you feel at your best! This makes the food tastier and the aftertaste more pleasant.
- Development of taste. It helps us feel and understand food and drink more deeply. The horizons of human perception are infinite, and taste is one of our growth points. Learning about tastes, we learn about ourselves and our preferences, and therefore we can obtain unlimited pleasure for ourselves and give it to those we treat.
